I last saw Jonatha at Bumbershoot in 2002 (gallery) and she was just as good this time around, maybe better. I love watching her sing, she always seems to be smiling...and her goofy quips and stories between songs are an entertaining contrast to the bittersweet nature of most of her music. She's surprisingly funny and irreverent, which I had almost forgotten about since seeing her last. The music was excellent and seemingly effortless...she's a class act and we both enjoyed the hell out of her show!
